The lovely people at the National Centre for Writing run a great scheme called InnCrowd. InnCrowd takes spoken word, theatre or storytelling shows to rural pubs across the UK.
In 2018 Inncrowd commissioned and co-produced a show written and performed by me and directed by the amazing Hannah Ringham called Kiss me, Help! I hate you.
Kiss me, Help! I hate you shows us the stories of three very different women in the same pub on the same night. It celebrates women and drinking and live performance where the lines between audience and action are blurred.
This show scratched at Omnibus Theatre in 2018 and then toured many dates around rural England in many, many lovely pubs in 2018 and 2019. Kiss me, Help! I hate you has low tech requirements and can be booked on request.
You can watch the trailer for the show here.
